Message When to the shop to pick up the stock turbos so I can return them to JWT for core, snapped the engine pic below. The JWT 500 turbos were installed without pulling the engine. The plenum was off for the Nismo 555 injectors & valve covers install. Also swapped the yellow timing covers with another set of timing covers.

The turbos spun freely, but one of them has some minor noise when I spun the wheel. Per the pics, you can see a lot of carbon deposit...it that normal? These stock turbos were rebuilt by [ www.turbochargers.com ] back in March 99 (I was charged $850 for the rebuilt) and only has about 10k miles on it before it went bad (blue smoke & when it hit 0 boost it will make a very high pitch siren noise, stuck at 0 psi boost for 3-4 seconds before it will boost past it to max of 14 psi)

The black spot on the housing seen to be oil/carbon deposit...is that were the seals are?

The car should be done in the next couple weeks, can't wait!
